okay.. so I got an email telling me to check out my dads profile on the new myspace.com. Umm...yeah....right. THATS gonna happen. BUT... how did it have dad's picture? Any suggestions on what is going on? He couldnt have been hacked there as he doesnt have a myspace profile there...

So, I said this on facebook...
wow.. Im not saying Pasadena and Glendale Unified are different.. but... I asked where the teachers lounge was today at Glendale..and both teachers I spoke to said.. oh.. youre lucky... today is SPA DAY. Sure enough.. walk into lounge.. white sheets and pillows everywhere.. low lighting... soft music.. incense... fresh fruit... and a sign up sheet for massage and manicure. Needless to say.. a female dominated staff. Two male subs today, and we were both wondering if they had a man cave day ever....

Got an email from Pasadena Unified .. apparently the Humboldt tragedy touched our district. None of the PUSD students were killed.. but one student had leg injuries. My heart goes out to all involved. Tragic.

So.. Pasadena Sub teachers are working on unionizing. Great. Another union bugging me for dues. But.. my favorite part is... I gave the organizer my email address... which is.. thedavidbeach@gmail and.. recently they sent out an email hunting those whose names were on the sub list that hadnt signed the card.. oddly.. my name was on the list.. and in the email address bar. Obviously a real detail man this guy....

I wonder if next season the Chorale could borrow that phrase in our press releases. Yesterdays concert was awesome...granted..
